What happened to iTunes for macOS Sonoma 14.2.1?

Where can I download iTunes that is compatible with Macbook Air MacOs Sonoma 14.2.1? I have been trying to download it, but I can’t find it. There is no longer a version of iTunes that is compatible with the latest MacOS Sonoma! As per Apple:  With macOS Catalina, your iTunes media library is now available in the Apple Music app, Apple TV app, Apple Books app, and Apple Podcasts app. And Finder is where you can manage and sync content on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

With macOS Catalina, your music, videos, podcasts, and audiobooks have been organized into their dedicated apps – the Apple Music app, Apple TV app, Apple Podcasts app, and Apple Books app. You can also access your iTunes Store purchases in these apps.

If you have a PC, you can continue to use iTunes for Windows to manage your media library, make purchases, and manually sync and manage your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Use Finder to sync and manage your iPhone, and iPad.

Finder is the new place to back up, update, or restore your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Just connect your device to your Mac and it will appear in the Finder sidebar. And you can drag and drop files to your device easily. The Finder is one of the ways you can sync your device with your Mac.

Sync or remove content using the Finder

  1. Use a USB cable to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac.

  2. On your Mac, click the Finder icon in the Dock to open a window in the Finder.

  3. Select your device from the list in the sidebar of the window. Can’t see your device?

  4. On the right-hand side of the window, use the row of buttons below the name of your device to select the type of content to be synced, such as Music or Photos. Then tick the Sync box for that content. In the example pictured, “Sync music onto iPhone” will turn on music syncing. After you’ve turned on syncing, more syncing options will become available.

  5. Click the Apply button in the bottom right-hand corner of the window. If the syncing process doesn’t start automatically, click the Sync button. You may then be asked to authorize your computer.
